It's ok, no one really cares if your accent is a little bit African.There's no need for you to try and blend it in. Don't be embarrassed about Mum and Dad's accent.It's actually great to have an accent. It shows that they can speak different languages.
That boy that you have a crush on? Don't even waste your energy on him. He isn't significant, he's not the love of your life, you'll find better looking and brighter boys in the future.Speak louder, what you have to say is valid.
