So this is the first time I've ever done a blogmas. In fact, I've only decided to do it right now and I have no idea what I've got my self but here I am!
Sow what my plan for blogmas?
Well, I'm gonna be writing a blog post every day for 24 days
*looks up to the sky* God help us.
And I'll be blogging about all thins Christmas, I don't know what, But believe me it's gonna be Christmas orientated.
OK so here we go

Three Christmas albums I'm listening to.

Ok, so I love listening to the same Christmas songs every year, I mean its tradition. But this year, I'm giving other artists ago.Not I didn't say songs, I said artists. I still like all my carols and songs but I'm also ready to listen to other versions

First up is Pentatonix-a Pentatonix Christmas

Oh, my days. There the first song on this album, Oh Come All Yea Faithful,
it really took me places. As an African, I appreciated the composition. It was so beautiful.
Pentatonix has three Christmas albums you should check them out as well.

Favourite song on the album: Oh come, all ye faithful

Leslie Odom Jr

This artists voice sounds like a hot cup of chocolate on a cold wintery day. It kind of soothes your soul and helps you forget whats happening around you.Every time I listen to it, I imagine me in ten years by the fireplace with a hot cup of hot chocolate. It is truly a beautiful album that has all your absolute fav songs but with a jazzy twist.
Favourite song on the album: My Favourite things

Sia- Everyday is Christmas

So I am actually in love with Sia so no doubt that I am biased about her Christmas. I love the fact that it strays from the traditional covers that most artists do for their Christmas albums. It has a lot of original songs that make you wanna jump up and dance along to it. It brings a fresh scent to the constant stuff that we are hearing

My Favourite song on the album: Candy Cane Lane

What is your favourite Christmas Album or song?

Dear 10 year old me,
It's ok, no one really cares if your accent is a little bit African. There's no need for you to try and blend it in. Don't be embarrassed about Mum and Dad's accent. It's actually great to have an accent. It shows that they can speak different languages.
That boy that you have a crush on? Don't even waste your energy on him. He isn't significant, he's not the love of your life, you'll find better looking and brighter boys in the future.Speak louder, what you have to say is valid.
Even if it's silly, it doesn't matter.

Love Rose

Life.
It kinda gets a bit too much sometimes, cuz we gotta realise that soon the fog will clear up. Yes, In case you didn't realise, I have been listening to a lot of Shawn Mendes lately and I love it!
Ok so here are my top tips on how to chillax.

1) Chew gum
This is for when you're on the go, say on a bus or a plane. Just pop it in and chew it like hell. This actually stops me from screaming sometimes.

2) Rearrange the spice cupboard
This is so meditative, It's like an art. There are so many ways to arrange it. There's alphabetical or colour or size order. It helps take your mind off things because your focus is on where you want to put the curry powder in front of the cumin or the cumin in front of the curry powder.

3) Scents
My favourite scent of all time is baked bread and cupcakes so smelling the always relaxes me. But you don't feel like cutting grass or baking anything to get you favourite scents there's a company that creates perfumes with all kinds of scents.Click here to find out more!

4)  Throw water balloons
Do this outside. Do not aim at people, they tend not to like that. Actually just fill up a water balloon and squeeze it until it pops.

Have you got any tips on how to de-stress? Lemmie know!

Before I had a phone or access to wifi my only source of entertainment was reading.I got to observe and alternate reality that would later keep playing in my head months after I had finished reading it. These are the books that had a huge impact on me an how I view my life. So here they are!!

  • My Sister Jodie ~ by Jacqline Wilson

This was the first tragic book I had ever read.It was also the first book that I ever cried at. Honestly the emotions are still strong from this. Bear in mind this was aimed at 12 year old girls so I wasn't suspecting such and impact.

  • The Purple Hibiscus ~ Chichimanda Ngochi Adiche

This was my first African book and I loved it! I felt like I could really connect with the main character and she was one who I could connect to on a personal level and I rarely do that.

  • The Colour Purple~ Alice Hooper

I got this as a birthday present because I saw the author in a documentary some time ago so I thought I might read it. And well,It was an eye opener. It was harsh, sharp and very, realistic. When the characters cry, you cry with them because now suddenly, they are you and you are them

  • Me Before You ~ Jojo Moyes

I kinda heard that lots of people saw the movie and cried when the watched this movie and I wasn't ready to put my self through it. But I was getting bored with what I was reading so I decided to venture to the romance section. And I expected it to be a typical twilight~esque sort of book.
It wasn't, it was

  • A Thousand Splendid Suns ~ Khaled Hosseini

Ok. I  got the audio book for this so it was a bit strange having someone else read a book for me, but that meant that I didn't have to struggle with the pronunciations. I had heard about the Kite Runner from all my friends so when I saw it in the library and took it home.Ant the title sounded like a pretty cheery book and I didn't read the blurb because spoilers .But Holy Chickens this left me in an emotional mess when I finished it. It taught me to appreciate my life and the struggle women past present and future have had to go through, are going through and will probably go through.
This is a MUST READ.(Or listen to)

So.
I was on holiday with my family in Dublin. It’s was my first time and it was a short weekend break kind of holiday and I was excited!
We arrived at our Airbnb on Friday and the next day, we went straight into the town centre for breakfast. We had to decide between the burrito shop and KFC.
We had a voted KFC because CHICKEN.
We entered the store and there was just us and another family so I thought it was safe enough to leave my phone and bag on the table. I didn’t really have anything valuable in my bag except my phone and even that wasn’t valuable it was one of those cheap Chinese phones from the internet so I figured it’d be safe.
I went to the till and ordered my meal, returned to our table and
IT WASN’T THERE.
I thought maybe left it at the till but, no. Then I thought my brother was playing some sort of prank on me and I wish he was.
I got my mum to call my phone then I remember that it's on silent. She called anyway and it wasn’t going through.
And that’s when I realised that it was stolen. I was upset but I didn’t even cry. I just. Let it go.
And my family were wondering why the hell I wasn’t acting upset at all.
That’s when I realised that I have no heart.
Two days later I ordered a new phone and I was a proud owner of an iPhone so I’d like to thank the thief for stealing my phone in KFC because I now have a better phone and I’m eating more healthily because I don’t go to KFC anymore.
Other than that, the trip was pretty good!
So I guess good things happen for a reason.

So, I’ve spent six months at Uni and I’d like to say that I’ve pretty much mastered the art of surviving the uni kitchen. Not going to lie, my mums cooking will always be the best in the word and mine will never compare. But there will come a time where you’ll realise that living off pizza and ramen noodles is not the way to go.
So here are five food cupboards under £5 to help you through Uni
  • Spicy Seasoning.

This is a life saver. When I first started my culinary adventure. I realised how dull my food was because the only “Seasoning” I had brought with me was Salt and trust me, It wasn’t fun to eat, So when I got home, I raided my spice cupboard and brought this seasoning back to uni and I’ve never looked back.
  • Coconut oil.

Ok. Coconut oil is basically the elixir of life. It can be used for cooking and for skin care and for hair care

  • Coffee- You need to stay awake for those Monday morning lectures

  • Green tea
I dunno, I always feel like I’m being healthy when I drink green tea. Apparently it's great for flushing out toxins?? I need to fact check this.
  • Cheese sauce Granules
Saving the best for last. This is probably the best thing ever invented next to pizza, sliced bread, and toothbrushes. Honestly. I am in love. Buying cheese is expensive. Buy too much and you end up wasting, buy too little and you would have to buy increasingly each week. In comes Cheese sauce granules. This is great for mac and cheese and other cheesy sauce foods
